The pedal recall only affects vehicles equipped with a CTS pedal assembly. As CTS is a US company those vehicles are made in the US also. AFAIK Scion models are all made in Japan and have the unaffected Denso pedal assembly.

HI, Our family has two XB’s. Toyota uses different parts on different cars. Some models share parts and others do not. I assume our Scion’s are unique enough to not have the same parts that the other Toyotas have.
