Every auto company has problems. No car model comes out of the assembly line 100% perfect. There's Always a % of defective cars. Same can be said with other products such as TVS, games, computers, etc etc. I wouldn't worry about power steering at the moment. There's no official recall. And even if there's a problem they'll fix it. Of course they want their reputation to be back to where it was. Power steering is a luxury. Back in the days, power steering didn't exist. Hey Emily? I mean like hype and media as they'll bash every little bit of a company whenever they get a chance. and I do feel for the familes (Don't get me wrong) but they make it seem like everybody is going to crash and die. And because the company is closing plants doesn't mean it's going backrupt. They are downsizing. Bankrupt is the WHOLE company going down. Not just one or two plants. Toyota came out with a commercial because they now have a solution to the gas pedal, they are insisting customers to come to dealers and have it fixed….

But look at the bright side, Toyota will make improvements in their vehicles. They will make alot of things standard such as Traction control

I don’t know if you know this that Chevy just made a recall about that as well….but their steering wheel literally fails….that is worse than the Corolla….. (Toyota Corolla is possible, but Chevy is a definite)
