twitter.com The Empire State Building took 7 million man hours to build. 225000 Toyota Camrys (just 63% of US production last year) take 6.3 million man hours to build. Every iPhone ever sold (146 million) took only 5.5 million man hours to build. For perspective, the 2300 pages of new rules and regulations from the Dodd-Frank Act will require 10.2 million man hours in compliance time on American job creators. The simple truth is over-regulation steals time from American innovation, and equally as important, it steals jobs from American workers. Should my daughter drive her Toyota?
Author: adminSep 3
My stupid son-in-law bought two new Toyota Camry’s. I told the idiot not to buy the Japanese junk. The news said today, Toyota company stopped selling them, due to cars driving out-of-control. Is it safe my daugher to drive her kids to school in her Toyota? I suggested she sell both of them and get a new Equinox and Malibu, but her idiot husband doesn’t want to. I want to see my grandkids graduate. Any suggestions?
If it is so reliable, why is this the biggest recall in car history? I do agree she should call the dealer.
My daughter took my advise. She just called me from the Chevrolet dealership and traded her 2 new Toyota’s for 2 new Chevrolets. Mom knows best! Better be safe than sorry. Thank you everyone for your answers!
With all the recalls, what are some safe, affordable used cars for a family starting out?

My husband and I are in the market for a used car, preferably a sedan (we’ve done the mini-van thing and we want a gas sipper this time). We were considering a Toyota Camry or Prius, but now with the recalls, we are not sure what to get. What about the Honda Accord? What are makes and models that have good mileage, good cost of ownership (i.e., it won’t cost us an arm and a leg to maintain), and excellent safety? We need a car that is safe and affordable, preferably under ,000 as we are on a tight budget.
We would appreciate any websites to which you can link us that have reviews and more info. Thanks!
We’re actually looking closer to -8000 tops.
was the toyota recalls a conspiracy?

i just bought 2010 toyota camry xle. nothing is wrong! no unintended acceleration, no engine stalling. absolutely no fault. it is flawless. yet the recall supporters said, "don’t buy toyota, they are not safe cars. value your life". So again, i ask these people what exactly is wrong in the 2010 toyota camry xle i bought few days back? seeing is believing. hearing is NOT believing. Toyota recalls sound like a government conspiracy to me because GM/Chrysler are failing.
