It’s hard to imagine that this massive recall will not affect people buying Toyotas, as it now seems to be more of a chronic pattern of defects emerging. Toyota has now recalled more than 11 million cars world wide. And it is rumored that millions more Corollas could be recalled at some point for defective steering as well. Do you think this latest report (see link) will continue to affect new Toyota car sales?

Joshua..there are more toyotas because Toyota is paying buyers to buy Toyotas by handing out incentives. No incentives…no buyers. That we will see soon.

They bail out GM and fine TM. The defects have not affected Toyota sales. The Government should get pout of the auto business!
How many times have you cursed at oncoming Toyota drivers for accelerating, rather than slowing down, when they’ve encountered you running on the road? Seems this may not have always been intentional….

After watching this "would be a horrible disaster" clip, has it change your view on buying Toyota vehicles in the future?
This is a 2008 model, Toyota Prius

Oh this 2008 Toyota Prius was NOT on the recall by the way….Hmmmnnn, this makes me even more wary of any other possible deadly, hidden malfunction of Toyota models, which might have linked to the causes of some accidents to the Toyota owners in the past.
I think I’m done with the Japanese car after this.
