Obama motors is going to keep hammering Toyota. He would like nothing more than to eliminate any competition to his car company. Most of the problems are driver errors. When was the last time Ford, GM, or Chrysler got called before a federal court for a recall?

No, I think that Toyota grew too big and fast and they got caught for making shortcuts and trying to save money so now they need to fix this problem because its only going to get worse……

Since Toyota cars sold in the U.S. are made in the U.S. and many "American" cars are made in Canada, getting us to buy foreign-made cars from American companies instead of U.S.-made cars from foreign companies, would hurt the U.S. economy.

No…the government is not making this stuff up. Turns out that the almighty Toyota and Honda can eff up too. Just like everyone else. And people can buy cars from many different countries and most all produce cars right here in the US anyway.

If you want to buy AMERICAN then buy a Honda, if you want to buy MEXICAN buy a Ford or GM or an "American" car. Anyway the truth is that Honda has a problem on some models where the brakes aren’t responding properly. I wouldn’t be surprised if American cars have had this problem or are having it. It happens when everything goes computerized. If I recall correctly they say it wasn’t actually the brakes weren’t responding YET, just they felt like they weren’t and could create issues. It’s better that they admit to their problems isn’t it?
