Could or should Toyota owners who ignore the "Gas Pedal" recalls be criminal liable for fatal accidents?

My question is if a driver who owns a recalled Toyota, who gets into an accident with the stuck accelerator kills a pedestrian or hits another car that kills another person(s). And if they ignore
the recall for months or refuse to get it fixed. Also is there a law in place for a situation like this.
So do u feel that a driver who fatally kills a person(s) with a recalled stuck accelerator should be
criminally liable for a accident. Love to hear your thoughts.

first they really don’t have a true fix for this they have the metal rod as a bandage because they were under the gun from the government to come up with something fast and second NO, this is toyota’s problem and they are responsible, do you really think that people will not get their vehicles in for this so-called recall bandage, you are trying to put the fault on someone other than toyota and who do we blame after this fails and the cars that went in still kill people ?

If they can fix this and all people are notified and someone chooses to completely ignore this and time passes then yes I believe that person should be help responsible for his or her actions……..
