keeps rattling until about the 3rd gear i belive then stops, but as soon as i come to a red light or sumthing it rattles big time, very annoying.. someone please help lol

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is it true that the whole Toyota scandal happened because Toyota figured if the brakes went out sooner, more people would have to replace them (causing more income for Toyota) but it backfired because it was causing unintended acceleration and the brakes weren’t working at all….?
