Toyota has recalled more than two million vehicles in the US to address accelerator pedals that could become entrapped in floor mats or jammed in driver’s side carpeting. (feb. 24)

Congressman Brian Bilbray toured the Toyota plant in Carlsbad to speak with plant employees about the recent recalls and safety issues facing a number of vehicles. Congressman Bilbray, a member of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wants to be sure that Americans are safe, and that the correct federal regulations are in place to ensure that safety.
