so the consumer doesn’t care about unintended acceleration recall? he just ignored that news and continues buying the recall models happily? he has no regard or conscience for his safety and safety of others on road? He doesn’t even care that his money is going to Japan while US economy is failing? How come?

Since Toyota still claims that 100% of every single over acceleration on every Toyota in the country and the world was due to "driver error" –why are they willing to settle out of court by paying Million for something that is not their fault? Here is the Yahoo news link on this settlement. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Toyota-to-pay-10-million-in-apf-1860834551.html?x=0

What is your opinion, now that additional facts have presented themselves, of the whole Toyota phantom acceleration thing? Basically there are three parties I see.

1) Toyota never had any problems 100% drivers fault every time.
2) Toyota was trying the fix some problems that existed, but didn’t move quickly enough.
3) Toyota knowingly concealed a very dangerous problem with their acceleration pedals that resulted in over 30 deaths.

Your thoughts? Thank you.
