I drive a 2000 toyota celica gts. On a full tank of premium gas, it goes from 0-60 in approx 7-8 secs.
I know you have to get a better air-intake thingy and that a better after-market muffler/exhaust is required, but i’m not sure which parts are best for my car. I also want to know if there is any other way to help with the acceleration

My family is thinking of buying a car right about now and we are deciding upon a Toyota Camry SE or LE (used) but i know LE is slightly better than SE. but which one is the better choice to drive?
the 2007 Toyota Camry SE that we are looking at is 27,000 mileage, and negotiated it down to about ,000.
the 2007 Toyota Camry LE that we just searched on the internet is 43,128 mileage and starting at , 981, but if we think this car is better, we might negotiate it to around ,000 also. A 4 door sedan and v4 engine, automatic transmission, like the SE.
so my question is, which one would be a better buy? and Why? my father wants a v6 engine but it’s difficult to find a specific car that is in his price range and a toyota with less mileage and recent. if you know a toyota model that is less than ,000, lasts long, good drive, a v6 engine and looks modern (enough), please indicate which model. (no vans or trucks)
also, i have heard about how the recent 2009-2010 toyota models had acceleration problems resulting in accidents, with one death of a driver i heard on the news, where the car increases speed when the acceleration pedal is "stuck". so should we steer away from 2009-2011 toyota models?
It doesn’t matter if we are driving a boring car, we just NEED a car. we looked at a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder at 127,000 mileage starting at 00. is this a good choice?
