07 Toyota Tundra recall request???
Posted by adminAug 27
I have leased an 07 Toyota Tundra from August 24th, 2007, which is only about 3 months ago. It has about 3,100 miles on it. Unfortunately, I have brought my truck to the dealership over 12 times so far because of service quality, financial issues, and mechanical problems of the truck. For example, I brought my truck 3 times because of the “same problem”, bedliner repair. I also had to bring my truck back again 3 times because of the “same problem” that caused shaking on my steering wheel. I got my truck back before yesterday, but my truck stopped in the middle of street causing shake on all over the truck yesterday, only a day after I got it back. I restarted engine, but it totally died out. I called the dealership and they towed my truck.
Due to those issues incl. recent mechanical problems, I wasted a lot of time and wasted $$$ on gas going back and forth. It also makes me worry about integrity of the truck.
Is there any way to recall this truck and get new one? Any advice?
Now I am driving 4th rent cars. I believe that my truck has been in the dealership for at least 15 days so far. I also called TxDOT and asked if this could meet the requirements. He said it would work. At least it would worth the money and efforts even though it wouldn’t work.
Thank you for all your answers. It’s very tough to decide which is the best answer ’cause all of them helped me a lot, so I put it on vote.
Thanks again.

Lemon law applies to 4 tries of a repair (same repair attempt) or if the vehicle has been in the shop for 31 days in a year. Since we don’t know how many days your truck has been in the shop. If you contact an attorney that specializes in lemon law practice they will be able to let you know if you can qualify.
Lemon law is not what most people think, so an attorney will be able to inform you of what your options are.

Check into the lemon laws of your state because it sounds like thats exactly what you got.
Good luck!
